Since creating my first video game with my father at the age of eight on an old Commodore 64, I have been a programmer, 2D and 3D artist, animator, designer, level designer, writer, project manager, and producer. I can demonstrate my experience in each of these areas. However, if I had to highlight the most important ones, they would be roles such as producer (in the indie and AA sector), designer, level designer, and generalist 3D artist.
I have directed and coordinated multidisciplinary teams, with demonstrable experience in this field. Among my main achievements are the production and direction of the video games "Illusoria" (2017) and "Hostlight" (2021), released by BadLand Games and Selecta Play respectively. In both projects, I also handled the design and part of the visual aspect. I have previously participated in other web platform projects in these roles and as a 2D artist.
In 2021, I was awarded the Goya for Best Animated Short Film for "Blue & Malone: Impossible Cases," directed by Abraham López Guerrero, produced by Manuel Carbajo, and with Emilio Luján as executive producer. I collaborated with them on this short film.
As a freelancer, I have worked with various companies on numerous projects of different scopes, from VR with companies like Lakento to projects for pharmaceutical and educational purposes, or creating scenarios for driving simulators for Simfor, to name a few.
All of this has been complemented by my role as a 3D modeling and digital sculpture instructor at ESDIP (in-person) and Udemy (online). I have had the opportunity to train many professionals who are actively working in our industry and beyond, both nationally and internationally, in companies such as Saber Interactive, Secret6, Ubisoft, or 2K. Some of them have even become leads in these companies, which fills me with pride.
In recent years, I have participated in AAA projects such as "Crime Boss: Rockay City," being part of the Ingame Studios team as a Prop Artist and creating models in both hard-surface and organic styles. After the release of this project, I continued with Galleon Studios, working on other unannounced projects as a Vehicle and Prop Artist.
Currently, I work as Senior Environment Artist at Mercury Steam in AAA title
